Busy Day Barbeque Brisket

– 1 tablespoon dried thyme leaves – 1 tablespoon paprika – 2 teaspoons freshly ground black pepper – 2 teaspoons salt – 1 teaspoon onion powder – ½ teaspoon garlic powder – ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper – ½ teaspoon ground cumin – 3 pounds beef brisket, trimmed of fat

Ingredients

Mix thyme, paprika, black pepper, salt, onion powder, garlic powder, cayenne pepper, and ground cumin in a small bowl. Set this bowl away.

Spray the beef with liquid smoke, and then rub the spice mix all over it. Put BBQ sauce and Worcestershire sauce into a slow cooker.

While the pan is on medium heat, cook the ground beef for 5 minutes. After you add the onion and garlic, cook for five more minutes. If you want to, drain off any extra fat.

Add the beef that has been seasoned to the slow cooker on top of the sauce mix.

It should be on Low for 8 to 10 hours, or until the beef is soft enough to cut with a fork.
