Cheeseburger Sliders

– 2 pounds lean ground beef – ▢2 teaspoons garlic powder – ▢1 teaspoon kosher salt – ▢2 teaspoons ground black pepper – ▢1 tablespoon olive oil – ▢½ white onion diced – ▢12 slider-sized Hawaiian rolls (1 package)

In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add olive oil and diced onion. Cook until the onion is soft and fragrant. Drain off any excess oil.

Slice the Hawaiian rolls in half lengthwise and place the bottom half in the baking dish.

Layer the cooked beef, onions, and cheese slices over the bottom half of the rolls. Top with the other half of the rolls.

In a small bowl, mix melted butter with salt, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, and sesame seeds (optional).

Brush the tops of the rolls with the butter mixture and sprinkle sesame seeds on top.

Bake for another 20 minutes until the bread is toasted and the cheese is melted.
