Easy Meatloaf Recipe

– 2 pounds ground beef – ½ cup plain breadcrumbs – ½ cup diced onion – 1 large egg, lightly beaten – 1 cup barbecue sauce, divided – 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce – 1 tablespoon minced garlic – 3 tablespoons Italian Seasoning – 1 teaspoon kosher salt – 1 teaspoon ground black pepper – chopped fresh parsley, for garnish

Ingredients

Line a loaf pan with foil and lightly grease it with oil or cooking spray. Make sure to leave some extra foil hanging over the edges to easily lift the meatloaf out later.

In a large bowl, mix together ground beef, breadcrumbs, chopped onion, egg, ½ cup of barbecue sauce, Worcestershire sauce, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.

Shape the beef mixture into a loaf shape in the prepared pan. Then, spread the remaining barbecue sauce over the top.

Bake the meatloaf in the oven for about 50 minutes, or until a meat thermometer inserted into the center reads 165˚F.

Let the meatloaf sit for 5 to 10 minutes before cutting into it. This helps it hold its shape better when slicing.

Garnish with parsley if you like, and then it's ready to serve
