Mint Julep

– 8 fresh mint leaves, plus more for garnish – ¼ to ½ ounce Simple Syrup – 2 ounces bourbon – Crushed ice

Ingredients

In a cup, crush mint leaves with ¼ ounce of simple syrup.

Pour in bourbon and fill the cup with crushed ice.

Stir until the cup gets frosty on the outside.

Taste and add more simple syrup if you want it sweeter.

Put more crushed ice on top to make a dome shape.
