Sweet Potato Fries Recipe

1 pound sweet potatoes, about 2 medium 2 tablespoons cornstarch 2 tablespoons water ½ teaspoon garlic powder, plus more to taste ½ teaspoon paprika, plus more to taste ½ teaspoon sea salt, plus more to taste Extra-virgin olive oil, for drizzling

Warm the oven up to 425°F and put parchment paper on two baking sheets. In the top and lower thirds of the oven, place two racks.

Cut the sweet potatoes into pieces that are ¼ to ½ of an inch thick along their length. Cut the planks into sticks that are ¼ to ½ of an inch thick.

Cut any sticks that are very long in half across the middle. More crunch will be added to the smaller pieces in the oven.

Stir the cornstarch and water together in a small bowl until the cornstarch is gone. Mix the garlic powder, paprika, and salt together and then pour it over the sweet potatoes.

Toss to coat, and use your hands to make sure the spices are spread out evenly.

Put the sweet potato fries on the baking sheets that have been made, leaving some room between each one. Pour a lot of olive oil over it.

Bake for 15 minutes, or until the bottom starts to brown. Take the fries out of the oven and flip them over with tongs.
