Tomato-and-red Pepper Soup

– 1 can (28 ounces) whole tomatoe – 1 jar (12 ounces) roasted red peppers, drained – ¼ cup half-and-half (a type of cream) – 1 ½ teaspoons salt – 1 teaspoon sugar – ½ teaspoon black pepper – 2 garlic clove


1. Put all the ingredients along with ¼ cup of water into a food processor.

Blend everything until it becomes smooth. You might need to scrape down the sides of the processor to make sure everything mixes well. 

Pour the mixture into a medium-sized saucepan. 

Cook it over medium-high heat, stirring often, for about 8 minutes or until it gets hot. 

Once it's hot, it's ready to serve right away. 

Serve immediately.
